Man of Sorrows:

Last Saturday night, Man of Sorrows rocked Sneakers out Jesus-style. MOS is comprised of ex-Ousla members Damian Omen (lead vocals, guitar) and John Guzman (guitar) along with cohorts Matt Blow (bass), Danny Naselli (percussion), and Manuel Gonzales (drums). Their hardcore Christian metal music is forceful and heavy yet still melodic. Vocally, Damian is among an elite number of singers who can pull off both singing and screaming. In addition to the vocals, the crowd really dug the band's Latin-rooted percussion. Proud of those Latin roots, Man of Sorrows encouraged the audience to "cumbia" to their single, "Oracion", which contains both English and Spanish lyrics ("Todo cambiara con oracion. Mueve la mano de Dios." [Everything changes with prayer. Move the hand of God.])

In the future, I plan on checking this band out as much as humanly possible. They kick some serious ass! The ultimate would be to see them perform with Demon Hunter (not to mention there would be a short line at the bar.) Sounds like heaven to me!
